Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
No. We are private pay only. Be aware that insurance claims cannot be filed without disclosing your psychological diagnosis and sharing your personal information. Sometimes filing insurance claims require giving a client an unearned diagnosis, just to be reimbursed.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
No. But, please contact the office because we may have cancellations.
What should I expect during my first visit?
During your first counseling session we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll review confidentiality, talk about your goals, and explore what’s been feeling most challenging.
